Florence Frandsen 1908-2000
Born in Moroni, Utah, Frandsen graduated from BYU with a BA and a Masters in art, and also studied at the San Francisco Institute of Fine Arts, the Art Barn in Salt Lake, the University of Utah, and Utah State University. She was a dedicated and beloved art teacher. She herself was a student of B.F. Larsen, Lee Randolph, E.H. Eastmond, Calvin Fletcher, and Ralph M. Pearson. She lived in Springville, Salt Lake, and retired in Seattle with her fellow artist husband Ed Neslen. She was a member of the Associated Utah Artists, and listed in the Who's Who of American Women Artists.
